i shut my eyes real tight during prayers today, clasping my hands ever so tightly, i prayed for the storm clouds to pass, revealing more than just a silver lining. i wish to see the sun again..
familiar words i've seen earlier whizz past the back of my mind like a cheap slideshow.
"cheap bastard."
"amazes me.."
"get wind of.."
"cheap bastard."
i opened my eyes suddenly and those words vanished before me, now revealing the bench and a cross in front of me.
i squeezed my eyes shut again, not allowing any hint of light to shine through my eyelids.. soon familiar songs rang through my head like iTunes playing on random as well as repeat mode.
"to sweet beginnings and bitter endings.."
"and how we laughed and how we smiled and how this world was yours and mine.."
"i don't like to be the ones with the blues but i do love you.."
soon, sermon was over and my torture ended, bringing me back to reality.
it's been years.. why isn't forgetting somebody as easy as deleting a file in the recycle bin? why am i so stupid to come back for more? why..
trickles of tears formed at the side of my eyelids and i wiped it away hastily..
this was how i daynightmared about you.
