blog inspiration #384hey people!i caught 200 pound beauty today, and guess what? PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IS COMING OUT ON MAY 24TH! WOO! keira knightley, keira knightley, keira knightley, keira knightley... i love skinny people. speaking of which,  at first when i saw the fat version of kim ah joong in the show, i was mildly disgusted. but when i saw the slimmer, sexier, hotter, prettier, skinnier version of her, i was like.. OMG!!! ok only la. ok maybe she's cute at certain angles and she's super cute when she squeaks, and she's cute when she tries to act hot but cannot act hot, act coy but cannot act coy. oh man, i'm THAT shallow.  ok fine, that's not me holding hands with gwyneth paltrow, half of me wishes i am, half of me doesn't. the other half says i'm not THAT fat.. er.. right? but ANYWAY, the last asian film i caught was.... curse of the golden huay. apart from gong li and her discovery channel covered boobs and man li and her manly pects, the film was a total flop. (except maybe the part where they teach you how to mass produce kek huay zui((chrysanthemum tea)), NOW I KNOW HOW YEO'S DID IT..) see: http://altonesax.blogspot.com/2006_11_26_archive.html for that show, i gave 1 out of 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 stars. for this show, i'm giving... 1 out of 2 stars! it's a tremendous improvement from the ah huay show. maybe asian shows aren't going down the dumps after all.. and here come the scary part. i ALMOST cried in the show. but my MANLY instincts kicked in and i DIDN'T ok?  amanda ling (you know how much i love her.. :D): OHHHHHhhhhh Ben! how did you do that you manly chunk of muscles, brains, brawn and intellectual superiority? ben: easy!! my logical brainwaves starting moving! see that japanese and korean shows rely mostly on music and sound to stimulate a person's right brain, causing him/her to feel certain kind of emotions they want to portray. take for example, ju-on:  not THAT scary right? *sound wave courtesy of www.eng.umu.se/monster/john/sound_music.htm oooo, personally, i think the picture's scary enough. i won't dare to go to my own blog anymore... :( it's all in the music, man. similarly, if a person cries (real or fake) and they play high tensioned, emotional music, the bum watching the movie will feel what the actress/actor feels and he/she will start to get emotional too la. don't believe me? watch the show. in other words, if our whole life was orchestrated musically, we would all be more emotional people, we would scold with more anger, cry with more sadness, laugh with more happiness... well, you catch my drift. for me, on the other hand, if music were to orchestrate my life, they'd record it down and sell my music as "insomiac's dream: sleep 101." wa.. long post, but i don't dare to look at my blog anymore.. :( KICKED ASS AT 4/24/2007 11:06:00 PM.
