 it's confirmed.. i'm gonna haf to take part in 4 events of the sdba competition.. in other words.. i'm gonna be so drained. plus i have to work quadruply hard to archieve what i want.. seems like i'm gonna die of exhaustion soon.. seriously.. luckily i've got my partners to work with.. or else i'm gonna PENG SAN... it's really fun to row with a friend rather than rowing yourself.. it makes winning more meaningful.. i think.. =P x country's on mon and my leg's not totally healed yet.. i'm afraid i'm gonna have to miss the race.. my shin's killing me. was talking to someone last night over the net. seems like i've got alot in common with her. it's as if we were lost twin siblings.. the hilarity.. one good side of competition.. you don't have the time to think of relationships and all those nonsense. training has occupied most of your time that waiting for the perfect girl seems impossible. i really seriously 100% think that those people who are surprised that i've got no date are a bunch of assholes lo.. haha.. no offence but.. once i said i've got nothing planned on vday, they would think that the world has just ended for that one minute of their lives. what's so amusing/surprising of having nothing on on vday? having no choice (n no girl asking me out... =p), training's the only option for me left in spending v day. i.e. rowing with my darling boat.. poor girl is injured. sigh.. bet she's lonely by herself now. hope she keeps herself warm now.. dun wanna her to catch a cold during the race. all crap aside.. i've gotta get a life after competition.. seriously. KICKED ASS AT 2/07/2004 11:49:00 PM. hey.. it's been more than a year since i've blogged my very 1st entry! n it's been nostalgic to read the past all over again to have a hearty laugh of yourself.. to think vday last year was a chore! this year... i'm spending vday with 3 girls... that's right! 3 girls! plus 8 guys and my coach at kallang.. to all those who still did not get what i just said.. i mean.. i'm going TRAINING on vday! ... goodness.. competition's coming up and i'm like panicking already.. i might be doing 2 events in the upcoming competition.. i'm not sure of myself.. i've put all my heart n soul into this but i'm still a little bit unnerved of the thought that i'm competiting against others who are more experienced than me! i really hope i can win something this year.. these past few days have mostly been downs for me. i guess life is so meaningless if i always expect something to happen.. waiting for surprises is what drives me ahead.. experiencing them surprises is what makes me want more.. most people say "begin with the end in mind" YA RIGHT.. i'd rather not think of the consequences of my actions and let my common sense n logic do all the talking. situations have turned out to be bleak nowadays.. with thoughts never thought of before, actions i wished i could do without facing any consequences, and things i longed to tell someone but as much as i want to, i cannot. body's aching like crazy, even though i feel as if i've not trained as much as b4. getting unwanted emotional stresses and letting loose undesired furies. i wish i'd have been more patient. i think joseph's right, if i get pissed, i'd concentrate more, and i'd become faster in whatever i do with double the result. i'm just plain mad. was pretty pissed off last night, but my anger was surpressed rather quickly after cooling down a little.. to all you love birds out there planning on the perfect vday date for your other, good for you. make sure what you do is memorable for the both of you so you can have pleasant memories of your date when you look back in future. can't believe what you just did to me y can't you just let me be free to be?
