when you left i lost a part of meeee...i can't help it but to say..I'M SO HAPPY SCHOOL'S ABOUT TO START!!! *hops* skip-a-dee-doo-dah.. *pops champagne* was PATIENTLY listening to camilla (yay! i mentioned you!) complaining of how crowded and how irritating orchard road can be when there's so many kiddies with their mommies walking all over town, with the little kiddies tugging at their mommies and whining that they wanna go over to the toys department. the walkway between the mrt, wisma and taka is sooooooo DAMN narrow that everyone will be squeeeeezing their way through and they would take 15 mins just to walk that stretch of road, not including the time taken to walk into a shop or two. OMG that's like the time i take to complete my 2.4km run!! i know that's so damn slow but i can't blame it if i'm fat right. i hate being a commando, i feel so inferior in camp cuz i have one of the smallesttttt bodies around.. even a 50 year old man can run faster than me la.. :( BUT I DIGRESS.... anyway.. seeing all my friends getting squashed and little kids breaking our ear drums, i've compiled a list (personally.. er hem) on how to avoid the crowd on a weekend when you have your heart set on that gucci sweater you've been eyeing but can't afford to take half an hour to get to taka in case that gucci sweater ends up warming another person's heart instead of yours. 1. Go on a school day! duh, that was why i was hopping mad like barney the gay dinosaur when i announced that school was going to start. 2. eat durians while walking, this will have people walking 1 metre radius away from you, this will get you there in a matter of minutes! carry those durian shells for added radius. 3. do online shopping. it's so much easier! although it would take a longer time searching for the damn sweater online on ebay than you having to perform (2). 4. put an alarm clock in a bag (make sure it's black) and place it on an obvious spot (eg, beside the security guard, or in front of the forever 21 shop in wisma. i hate that place anyway). make sure it's a loud ticking clock so everyone can hear it. in case anybody doesn't hear it, report it to the security guard. but of course, make sure you don't get spotted by that fella or u would be shopping for prison clothes in changi. AND before you know it, the place is DESERTED! yay! you can even get the stuff you want at a discount! a 100% discount. 5. i still like my durian idea better.. 6. buy a automated wheelchair and start wheeling yourself all around the place. singaporeans hate that. 7. pretend to play music at the side of the walkway and the singaporeans will avoid you like a plague.. at the same time you slowly move towards the shop you want. well.. i know that's tedious so i shall say the durian plan is still better.. that's about it i guess.. maybe shopping malls will wise up and extend the pathways wider eh? and maybe include newer shops and bigger discounts.. omg.. i sound like an aunty. "take a picture." you would say. seriously, i couldn't be bothered. i took it reluctantly with you while genuinely happily with the others. many times, i wouldn't smile. or i would force myself a smile. happy thoughts, not of you, to get you out of my hair.. still i couldn't shake it off. memories of you are fragile like flowers. plucked away from me by another. it's time for me to let you know i can't be bothered, i've let you go. faint sounds of familiar music rang through the hall "last christmas", though the faintest, was the loudest in my mind. like that idiot, i gave you my heart but the very next day, you gave it away. slow dance, couples' favourite part of the party everyone had someone to dance with. me? i was like a rental dvd picked off the shelf for a few seconds and got returned. you were dancing with him, i couldn't help but take glances. half of me was wishing i was that guy the other half.. wasn't. i can't stand it anymore, i'm no longer part of your life, and you're no longer part of mine. i just wished i hadn't known you at all.. at all.. last christmas, i gave you my heart. but the very next day, you gave it away this year, to save me from tears, i'm giving to someone special. that someone special, is..
