TOW: MY SELF-CONJURED TESTIMONIAL!before i begin, let me say that i'll start every post with "The One With" (TOW for short) in commemoration of my favourite tv series which will soon be gone, Friends. =( wished i had friends like them..ANYWAY... i seriously don't believe half the things i wrote in this dumb-assed, self-conjured testimonial. if my teacher copies word for word into my actual testimonial, i'll slap myself cuz i should've written more lies about myself. n it went like that.. Benjamin Tan Hang Khoon pursued an 'A' Level course in Science. The subjects he offered at 'A' Level were Mathematics C, Physics and Economics. Subjects offered at ‘AO’ Level were General Paper and Chinese. Benjamin is a bright, resourceful and creative student. Throughout his two-year course, he has applied himself diligently to his studies and was consistent in his work. He gave his undue attention to his tutors and lecturers and always participated in the lessons conducted by them. Being disciplined, he rarely came late for school and was always punctual to all his lessons. He was always prepared for his tutorials and it was a pleasure to receive his assignments, which he took so much pride in doing. His best work was seen in Mathematics, closely followed by a keen interest in Physics. Benjamin has a very good command of the English Language both in its written and oral medium. Benjamin has made good his time in college by participating actively in his co-curricular activities. As a member of the Catholic Junior College Canoeing Team, he has worked closely with his teammates, captain and coach to keep the tough training enjoyable, so that his teammates, both of his age and those younger than him, would look forward to the subsequent trainings. Being in the team, he has participated in various competitions orgainised by different sea sport- related clubs. He led by example and has dome done more than his fair share of the work. He is especially close to the team and was willing to sacrifice whatever was necessary for the good of the team. Apart from canoeing, Benjamin has also participated in his secondary school, St. Joseph’s Institution’s symphonic band concert as an alumni member, proving that the bond he has forged with his secondary school band mates is unbreakable. He has also actively participated in many community services such as blood donation drives, or fund raisings and is also a youth leader in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Benjamin has a very amiable and easy-going personality. He is popular with his peers and is a capable leader as shown in the previous year during project work sessions. As a PE representative of his class, he knew where his responsibilities lie and acted upon it. With his leadership, together with the co-operation of his classmates, his class was able to clinch 2nd place in the sports carnival. He also looked out for the welfare of his classmates and has given his time to them whenever they needed his help. Benjamin has played a significant role in helping to build the class spirit by organising class outings. Benjamin is a caring and thoughtful individual. He has been mature and responsible in his conduct and also has much good humour. Benjamin’s amiable personality and academic abilities should help him to achieve his goals in future. CAN I? kk.. rewind.. let's try it again. today i woke up because of the damn earthquake.. well, it's like any normal one. this time it's on the richter scale of 7.. only my tv set's getting cranky, otherwise everything else is more or less in place. met a dragon today. was really pissed cuz he burnt my brand new pair of gucci shoes. took out my lightsaber and slashed his balls. think i removed the last of his kind. oh well.. eyeing on this lexus spaceship WTR5000.. with a record speed of 3 x 10^9 metres per second. faster than the speed of light. makes me wanna fly higher. will visit my parents on mars later in the evening. still sucks.. try again.. school today.. T9 was up in my level yesterday, didn't realised it until this morning when a group of girls started yelling at each other between the 2nd and 5th floor. showed everyone else my new metrosexual look: buffed nails! courtesy of chan huiwen. i've got everyone in my class hooked on buffing their nails.
