we danced again last night, it was a slow dance, by jove, they were playing our music! you were so beautiful last night. so captivating was your beauty that i couldn't believe i was dancing with you. you couldn't imagine how happy and contented i was. i wanted so much to take away all your sadness away from you, drown you in your own world of esctasy.. i wanted so much to hold you so tight and squeeze all the pain you have in you. i could see it in your eyes. those tears, those sadness..
but i was impatient, i was eagerly waiting for the next step in the slow dance. i didn't savour the time we took to dance, how beautiful you were last night, and how your voice soothed my ears. the song ended and it was time to say goodbye. we bowed and you disappeared leaving me with no memories of you.. no trace at all. leaving me to regret every last minute of our time spent together.
it's the third time i've been fooled again. but i still continue to be fooled by you. why?
this morning, you told me something which i hoped never to hear from you again. yes you did. and now, i'm weeping in dreaded sorrow.. regretting ever to dance with you last night. i've lost again.
